Can we talk air cleaners?
I have a real cheap aftermarket chrome air cleaner on my truck. I feel that the cheapness of this cleaner restricts air from entering and causing the engine to work harder? I have been looking at an upgrade, but are all these chrome cleaners all the same? Does my restricting air even make sense?
Does it matter if you get a 2 inch or 3 inch with more element? I see them from 9.95 up to over 100.. I'm running a 4 barrel manifold with an edelbroke 1400 series w/electric choke.

Re: Can we talk air cleaners?
I would think that if the element is kept reasonably clean any air cleaner will do. The larger the filter the larger surface area to allow air in.
