What Lubricant to use on my slip yoke grease zerks
 My service manual is asking for special lubricant for my slip yoke grease zerks on the driveshaft. Just was wondering what everybody was using?

I just use the water proof grease I have in my grease gun, same stuff I use for all my suspension on everything.

i use marine grease in everything do to the salt in my area. never had a problem also i cover the tip of the fitting so it does not freeze with rust. next time i grease i wipe down and do it again.

for that application I suggest Mystic JT-6 no.2 high temp grease.

I use a water proof, high temp, marine grease, same thing I use on all my suspension, u-joints, and packing wheel bearings with.

Back when I was at the dealership, they had Lubriplate. Marine grease, or molly grease will work just as good as Lubriplate, if not better.
