My Old Bag: 68 C-10 Bagged

Hi there, I'm new here on 67-72chevytrucks.com. I just picked up this 1968 C-10 Fleetside bagged. I say it's about 80% done. The engine is supposed to be a 350 out of an '89 Camaro with 700R4 tranny. But looking at the block number, I'm sure it's a 305. But that's ok, I have a ZZ440 Chevy Crate motor and a fresh 700R4 ready to drop into this old bag. Other things I would change besides little body work and paint are aluminum gas tank, aluminum radiator and maybe billet hood hinges. I'm sure I'll find more things to replace but those are the first ones in mind. Here are some pictures of my baby.

Re: My Old Bag: 68 C-10 Bagged

yea, the previous owner installed a radio unit with pop up screen. The radio unit did not come with the truck. I'll just replace with one piece dash.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I had a '72 Longbed dually painted hugger orange with a 396 big block and I sold it. I missed the truck so I found this one that's pretty much what I wanted to do to my truck except for a few personal touches. I didn't know there was a truck forum dedicated to the 67-72 trucks until I stumbled into here. There are lots of good info, good looking trucks and good people in the 67-72 chevytruck community and I'm proud to be one of yall!

Re: My Old Bag: 68 C-10 Bagged

Just came across your build thread, and the truck sounds like a solid start. Raised bed floor or has it been cut?
