Parting out a '67

All,
My uncle is in a bad situation as my aunt lost her job last week. He has to move and where he is going does not have a garage. He asked me to take this truck and do what I want with it. I would like to sell whatever I can from it before I take it to the scrap yard to try to help him out with whatever money I can make on it.

What I do know about the truck is this:

1967, C-10, 1/2 ton, long bed (wood floor) and my uncle drove it home when he bought it.

I have a bunch of pictures from when I was loading it up on the trailer. If you see something you might need or are interested in, please let me know. Im only home on weekends, so any special requests (pictures, parts Id, etc) will have to wait until the weekend.

Parts I have pictures of:

- fuel tank
- tailgates (2)
- grill (pretty straight, but light surface rust)
- radiator support (little rot under battery)
- hood (very good condition)
- bed (front panel is shot, but sides are solid) WOOD FLOOR
- cab (decent shape except for the floor pan at the drivers door)
- complete frame (great shape)
- power steering box
- cowl (great shape)
- radiator (great shape)
- Dynomax mufflers #17733 (brand new, never used)
- aluminum step rails from an '87 blazer (great shape)
- TH350 (needs to be rebuilt)
- Inner fender wells (driver side only has rot near battery)
- fan shroud
- I have a ton of misc parts as well (lights, emblems, chrome, ashtrays, glove box doors, visors, etc)

If you are looking for anything, please let me know. I can take more pictures over the weekend for anyone needing anything extra.

You will need to post prices on at least most of the items per forum rules.

How much for the mufflers?

Re: Parting out a '67

Any chrome round mirrors with the straight arms? How much for the auto column?

Need anything for trade?

And DANG I would love to have that cab! A small back window is something I have always wanted. Maybe we can trade

I will letcha know if anything else I can think of.
Thanks

Jason

Also, I can deliver frame/cab/bed/etc if the travel is compensenated and distance is reasonable. Let me know. I live in N. Carolina right across the line from Virginia Beach, but am working in Richmond during the week. I can trailer something up if someone wants to meet, etc.

I have some good solid ones considering age, they just have some light rot in the bottom of the doors, real easy fix. We have 2 good hoods, a 69 and a 71, and a good long bed frame, 2 Q-Jet carbs that can be rebuilt but work fine, 2 gas tanks, one from a 69, one from a 71, I got some "OK" fenders, I have a pair of West Coast Mirrors. I might have something you need.

Re: Parting out a '67

Maddox - no mirrors came with the truck that I am aware of, but I have to check the many boxes that he gave me. I'll let you know over the weekend.

VA72C10 - Hood/Inner Fender/Mufflers/Knobs/Lighter/Ignition Bezel - Is $250 fair and I bring to Richmond? I would like to take more photos for you over the weekend to verify everything its what you are looking for. I can bring it up to Richmond on Monday the 8th of October if the pics I send you over the weekend are okay with you.

Re: Parting out a '67

Ive got new inner and outer fenders, new bed floor, new front bed panel, pretty much everything I need for a solid truck, just need time to put it together! Im really looking for someone to take my cab, with my doors, and replace the inner and outer lower door skins. I have all the new sheet metal, just need someone to help with the welding to get it fit right. Everything else I have is bolt on really.

Shawn,
The only trim that is available is the bed trim I believe. I'll have to check again when I get home.

Price.....make offer.

I really dont know what to ask for this stuff to be honest.
