1980 gmc heater control cable location

i recently had my heater control and radio out of my truck after i reinstalled the my upper arm on my heater control wouldnt move, so of course like an idiot i tried to force it and it broke

i found the cable that wasnt moving thinking it was seized and needed replacing i removed it, after removing it i find that it isnt seized up i check the other two cables to make sure i didnt remove the wrong one and the both move freely

im thinking i either had the cable in the wrong locations and it wouldnt move or it was kinked some how possibly even a combination of both, i looked on here and couldnt find anything on this for a non ac truck, maybe i didnt look hard enough? can anyone tell me what cable goes where on my heater box or provide me with a link to someone who has done this

thanks but that was the one i was referring to its newer and an a/c truck also doesnt explain or show where on the controls the cables go, i need to know what cables go to what loction on the controls on a non ac truck

yes non ac, i need to know what cable to what location on the box, basically i want to make sure the cables on the controls are in the right spot on the box

well i didn't get an all in shot cause it's tight with the door in...but

thanks for the pics, i think i have it figured out now i went and looked at my uncles truck, i watched the cables as i moved the controls, the cables for the top control one goes to the right side of the heater box to arm closest to the fire wall and the second goes to the bottom left of the heater box, and the second cable for the bottom control go to the right side of the heater box closest to the glove box door
