Can I see your heater core and box delete firewall??

Really thinking of sheet canning the God aweful heater core and box from my engine compartment when I pull the motor and front end off my truck this winter. I have about 1/4" of clearance from my valve cover to that box. The heater hasn't been working for 5 years now. I have a bunch of aluminum sheets and was thinking of making a nice cover but can't remember how big the opening was. Thanks guys!

PS: I'm thinking of just leaving the box inside the cab as is. I'm guessing that just doesn't look right when removed, but if you can prove me wrong, I'd love to see pics of what you did on the inside too!

I'm sure you will get a quicker response, as I just pulled all the cab components on my son's cab. I will measure out a template tonight. I am hoping to install a Mojave heater with a plenum and re-use the stock defrost and a/c vents for heat. I am curious as well how it will look without that big black box hanging below the dash.

Door hinge bolt holes with eye bolts and one strap on the bottom of the back of the cab...worked great.
