driveline question

I'm going to take my driveline to the shop to get shortened. I've got a 55' 3100 on air bags. In general, how much play should there be in the yoke?

Re: driveline question

What the drive shaft shop told me is push the yoke in until it bottoms out and then pull it out 1" and measure center to center from yoke to u-joint and you'll be good... have had 10 done this way and not a problem ..
