Rocker panel

64 short step. On the rocker panel is there supposed to be a lip to hold the door rubber? If so I believe mine has rotted away.
Thanks Larry

Re: Rocker panel

yes, they are almost always gone on the drivers side, but the lip runs right under the outside edge of the sill plate .

if/when you get a replacement rocker the lip will be on there

Re: Rocker panel

When I pulled me old weather seal, the metal lip came up off the floor with it, boy was that rusty.

Re: Rocker panel

Where did you buy the rocker panel from. The fit looks pretty good.

Re: Rocker panel

I have completed the same rocker re-new project and they fit on fine as well. I purchased them from LMC, (she's a 65')

Re: Rocker panel

When you guys replaced the rockers, did you use a spot weld cutter to remove the old ones? If so, do you remember about how many there are to cut?

I believe that the assembly manual shows you how many
it is handy to have if you are going to be working on one of these
