Question about kick panel vent diaphragms
I have a 72 with ac and was wondering how the vent door works on the passenger side kick panel. Seems to me the diaphragm under the hood and diaphragm by passenger kick panel work together? I think I am missing something between the 2. I have all the vacuum lines in place. There is a hole in firewall in front of the diaphragm on passenger side right above blower motor. What goes in this hole? Pictures or info would be great!

when the inside door is open, the cowl door is closed to recirculate the air in the cab. the hole is for the antenna cable.

I thought you meant the hole on the inside of the firewall. The hole in the firewall under the hood is for the actuator arm for the cowl flap.

If you spend about $30 for the assembly manual (all the major suppliers have them) all this will make sense to you, trust me, its money well spent.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |
