body swap questions
I have a 1972 chevy 4x4 with a trashed body will a 1972 2wd GMC mount to my chevy frame? or should I just turn the 2wd into a 4wd?

Re: body swap questions
The 2 wheel drive cab will mount to the 4x4 frame. The only difference may be the transmission hump on the floor. All 4x4's have a bolt in high hump floor. All 2 wheel drives with a floor shift manual transmission have a high hump floor. 2 wheel drives with a auto transmission usually have a low hump, an exception to this is big block trucks with a turbo 400 trans.

Re: body swap questions
It would be easier to swap cabs if you are wanting to stay with 4 wheel drive.

Re: body swap questions
I just put a 2wd cab on a 4wd frame. It is the same except for the hump, but it you have a automatic transmission the linkage will be different from a 2wd to a 4wd. I think it is easier to just switch the cab, I converted a 2wd frame to 4wd along time ago and it was a headache.
