292 power steering pump find !
While searching the local junk yard I came ascross this! A power steering set up for a 292 6 cylinder, the 292 is different from the 230/250 as it has the cut out in the bracket for the by pass hose.
The unit is complete and all there, pump brackets, pulleys, harmonic balancer.... I am getting it off in the morning to add to my collection of rare parts I have found.

Those aren't as rare as you think. Maybe worth $50 on a good day. Tell you what, since you are going to a lot of trouble, I will give you $100 if you ship it to me...

LOL, I have been gathering stuff for 25 + years..... I know how hard these are to find.... but it is only costing me $35.00 so I guess I am still ok at your 50 dollars appraisal..... he he
It is next to the crusher, so it will be flat in a week if I dont get it tomorrow

Well it is raining like crazy here in N E Oklahoma but I am going to go brave the weather and get this P.S. set up before someone does or worse it gets crushed!

I would brave the rain too. I put PS/hydroboost on my 67 with a 292, the brackets were the most expensive part of the project.

Got the ps parts plus some extras.... an auto column, 2 sets of heater delete plates...

I have a truck with a 292 but I want to leave it complete, next time I go to Cagles Salvage I will get them off for ya if they are still there
