New in TX, 64

I'm mostly into old hot rods, but I bought this c10 from my buddy. He got it from another buddy. He got it from another buddy who got it from my other buddy. Now say buddy five times fast. Anyway, they've been working on it it and did some cool stuff; drop coils in the front and back, 2" blocks in the rear, c-notch, AC, wiring etc. It's pretty neat, has all this old chrome stuff from the 70s im guessing. Right now i'm just gonna clean it up a little and enjoy it, but it's my first chevy so I've been reading up here.

Re: New in TX, 64

Thanks guys. They blew a head gasket before I got it. Spent the weekend with my dad going over the motor and getting her straightened out, put the heads on and new radiator. Luckily the rings were fine and she purrs like a kitten now. Great little truck, I'm surprised I havent had one before this. I may look into power steering and discs just to make it easier to drive since it will be my daily. Was surprised to find a posi rear.
