Please post pics of your McGaughy's 4.5 / 6 drop with C-Notch...

I'm about to order but want to make sure if that's the look I want.

Thanks,

These are ECE parts,... but the best example of a 4.5/6 drop.
(with 20's)

McGaughy's 4.5"/6" is what I have on mine. I didn't install the c-notch. Mine dropped more than advertised. Pics:

Since you didn't install the c-notch, have you had any issues. Does it ride okay that way?

Matter of fact, I do. Front tires are 255/40 20, and the rears are 295/40 20. Wheels are Eagle 225 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear

No issues yet. I cut off the factory bumpstop (which you'd need to do anyway with the c-notch) and there's a lot of room between the frame and axle tubes. I put drop shocks on the rear and it rides exactly the same as it did before. Only problem I ran into with the rear is that the truck leaned a bit so I swapped the leaf springs side to side and it's pretty close to level now.

I installed the C-notch because I had it, and a plasma cutter makes it easy, but wasn't really necessary. There's plenty of room without it as long as you aren't hauling heavy loads.

Does anyone here know how the rear spring stacks affect how much lowering happens in the rear?

The thicker the spring pack is, the more inches the truck will be lowered when installing a flip kit. For example, a flip kit is normally a 5in drop with a 1 1/2in thick spring pack. If the spring pack is 2 1/2in thick it would result in a 6in drop.
