4L80E swap question
I am looking to get a 4L80E that came out of a 93 one ton chevy. It is out of a 4x4 truck and it has a borg warner transfer case that comes with it. Will that trans bolt up to my NP205 tranfer case or will I have to change the tail shaft and housing? Any help would great. Thanks.

I just did a swap into my 79 crew. It was already mated to the 205, chevy did have a 4l80e/np205 combo in 1991. It only came in crew cabs so it is a little hard to find. I put together the basics of the swap, here it the link. Good luck..........!

I have read your build before and it has a lot of great info. I will be applying a lot of that info on my swap. I found out that I will be needing an adapter to use the trans that I found.
