picking up a 350 later on today, for 250$ complete engine nothing wrong with it it came out of a chevelle and my buddy swapped it out for a 454. it just needs a carb, what would you all recommend? and im thinking about putting a cam in it but how would it affect mpg? ill put some pics of the motor up later on today when i get it.

Love the valve covers. What you gonna do with the 6? PM if you want to sell? If its a stock 350, a 600 cfm Holley or Edelbrock will do, vacuum secondaries. Cam, that's a whole 'nother ball game! RV style cam would work good if its just the stock cam in the engine now.

Since it is out I would do the cam now (and replace the oil pan/timing cover gaskets)
You can get a sbc cam super cheap, just dont do anything too crazy |
