71 SWB: Go On Diet and Race/ No Diet and race ?
Thinking of racing the 71. Ive got a new a/c almost ready to charge with freon but am thinking of selling all a/c parts and putting the truck on a diet to race. The truck hardly sees many street miles as it is. Im wanting to install posi/slicks to hook up but dont and wont have the cash for a while otherwise. If i race it, i might sell the leather seat, brake booster and a host of other stuff. Any feedback would be welcome.

Buy an old beater nova or something to race. I plan on taking mine to the strip to see what it will do, but don't gut it to race it.
Just my opinion.

YOU CAN STILL RACE IT FULLY EQUIPPED A BEST FRIEND OF MINE HAS A PROSTREET 70 WITH A BLOWN 350 RUNNING 11.20's FULLY EQUIPPED.WE JUST TOOK A 160 MILE TRIP IN IT SATURDAY
