70 K10 Buildup
Here is some pics of my build. First time posting, but over the last year I came here for tips on the build. From Rocker panels to brake booster bracket, I found it all here. So here is a few pics.

Re: 70 K10 Buildup
very nice work. wondering how much lift and what company it is from. I assume you have 6 lugs but interested in the wheel tire combo as well.

Amazing transformation and a very sweet truck! Congrats on a job well done! There's a lot of blood, sweat and tears in that project.

Re: 70 K10 Buildup
Sweet truck! Finished product is a definite winner in my books. Looks like I need to find a another short bed after I get my current one finished, and do a 4x4 build.

Re: 70 K10 Buildup
I build the truck myself. I'm finishing up college at SacState and did this project to earn some cash on the side. Built in our airplane hanger over this last year. I've came to this site too many times for help. lol I've built a 76 K10 swb and a 72 f250 previously, but this was my first 67-72 body style.
Details- 6" softride springs all around 35x14.50 Boggers 16.5x12 Weld Typhoons (Weld is now discontinued) GM Performance 350-330hp/380torque Edelbrock rpm air gap intake (endurashine) Holly 670 hp carb Headman elite headers/3" pipes/3" xpipe/ cutouts/ 2- super 44 flows/ turndowns Rebuilt SM465 Rebuilt NP205 w/ twinstick shifter Rebuilt D44 Front w/Factory 3.73 limited slip Rebuilt 12 bolt Rear w/ Factory 3.73 limited slip Built so far- $45,000 and 1,200 personal hours Other- Vintage air tilt steering wing window delete on and on and on |

Re: 70 K10 Buildup
With that kind of money into it, it better look this damn good...lol If I had that kinda cash to spend on mine.... well, let me just say it would be finished and I would probably be working on 2 more at the same time.

Re: 70 K10 Buildup
I am a fan of either Chevy or GMC. But for some reason the grill on a GMC catch's my fancy just a hair more. Going to love seeing this one. You should do a build thread in the build section on it so we can watch the progress. Looks like you going to be building your Chevy's evil twin sister....lol
