Rewiring a 58 apache
Need to completely rewire the entire truck. WHat are the best options? I know there are some kits out there. Anyone done this and what is your advice?

Do an advanced search, there are a couple of very detailed pro con wiring threads that have been active in the last 6 months. Does not seem to be a consensus, a lot depends on how much work you want to do vs. buying one with all the new connectors ready to plug and play.

I bought spools of different color wire and connectors and did all my own wiring .

like orrieg said, there are a lot of re-wire threads
i used an ezwire harness, best bang for the $$ i used the 21 circuit but also have ac, pw, ps, and all the bells and whistles 12 circuit will work for a less intensive wiring

I have been shopping around looking at what all the suppliers offer and the varied price ranges. Orrie and Ogre are right it all matters on what you feel comfortable with as far as abilities and cash .

Depends on what you're doing with your truck. I'm going stock restoration so I bought stock repro harness. Classic parts sells all the individual harnesses. It's specific to interior, exterior, engine, etc. If you are going another route then I recommend painless universal type harness kits
