Automotive paint

Hey guys
I am ready to paint my 72 GMC k1500 (pics will be comming) I am in Canada and paint kits up here are brutal ($575-$750) I have been looking at "Kirker" but they are in NY Any ideas on a great paint ( maufacturer) As we do not see many of your paints up here . They tell me Dupont is good any suggestions because I wil be buying in the USA

I use Dupont Chroma on everything. It's the best I've ever used.

I used PPG dbu paint and PPG concept 2002 clear $1000.00 for both and that was wholesale

That sounds cheap for paint! I used Nason urethane on mine, no clear and I'm sure I paid more than that for everything, reducer, paint and hardener. My truck is parked outside year round and the paint still looks great even after three freezing cold winters and very hot summers. It's not the highest quality, maybe right in the middle. Are you doing a base/clear or just base?
