'86 Jimmy getting the full treatment

I put my DD in the shop 2 weeks ago so the body guys could fix the quarters, rockers and dings from the last 26 years of abuse. Going back with bright red since I use it primarily for emergency response every day...

A few years back; (before all the rust wholes started popping up. They got really bad, really quick)

Today;

I'm having some new stainless nurf bars put on it, red highlights on the inside diameter of the wheels and new tires.

It should be ready in a week when my body man gets back from vacation... /Ken

How are you getting away with the light bar? My suburban is going in to paint on Monday.

I'm a Vol EMT/Firefighter and work with local Emergency Management. In KY the law allows to display lights and have sirens on your personal vehicles providing you have 360 coverage, siren is of a certain quality, get permission from the Chief of the department you're serving, complete defensive driving training and no criminal record.

Looks great. Is that the production red or did you go with a special mix?

Special - I'll get the code from the painter... It's off a '12 or '13 Dodge Charger I think. VERY bright RED! - The one in the street in front of my garage is the old color. Ken
