Headlights, swapped around.

I just bought 4 new Silverstars for my '86 and was wondering, any of you guys ever put the dim's on bottom and brights on top? I noticed the lights in it now are right opposite. Just wondering which works best.

Re: Headlights, swapped around.

People do it. Just depends on taste. Make sure they are aimed right and you will be ok

Better yet, is there a way to have all on at the same time if you switch to hi-beams?

i don't think it's illegal?

When I turn my high beams on, all 4 lights stay on. It switches filaments in the low beam bulb and also lights up the high beam bulb.

LMC sells a harness to do this. It's in my 87 build thread near the end.

did it to the 87 and 88,you have to bend the corner tabs in the buckets, thats it,move wires
I found it easier to aim the lights, seemed more light "on" the road
and yes all four stay on
