Sweet 69 GMC 4x4 I found on the CL
69 GMC 396 4X4 4 speed
http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/3313653479.html These are the deals I find when I can't afford to buy another vehicle. Story of our lives right. Though I am not a huge fan of the color, it looks good on this one. Maybe this truck will find a home with one of you guy on here and I will get an opportunity down the road to pick it up. Would love to have a 4x4 to sit a long my 2wd. Would make a great pair...lol I am sure you all feel my pain and have to pass these deals up all the time. Will be my future build.

That looks like a good clean 4x4. I'd say thats a pretty good price also.

I thought so myself. I would have it, but my wife wouldn't allow me to wipe out the saving for it...lol I didn't even ask. Guess I just need a larger amount of money in my savings account for finds like these.

Re: Sweet 69 GMC 4x4 I found on the CL
Actually that seems high for a built up vehicle. BBs were not offered in 4X4s so one or the other was added. Plus that automatic tilt column makes me wonder what all is pieced together.

Re: Sweet 69 GMC 4x4 I found on the CL
If it was all original I would expect it to be sitting at about $12k or more. In this case, I new from the start that it wasn't original from the motor and auto column.
It is still very nice, and I believe it is worth what he is asking honestly. I am sure he has that into it. I would ask more than that for mine and it's not nearly as nice as this one. Nor is mine close to being original anymore.

No problem Joseph, I in no way meant to infer you were not aware. It is just a couple of facts that, to me, bear noting. We have all seen people getting "deals" without facts then finding out their deal isn't in some or many ways. I would want to verify it and know what it is based on. What someone has in a truck is often not reflected its market value.

Re: Sweet 69 GMC 4x4 I found on the CL
It looks and sounds like a deal from what you can tell from his add. If I could actually look at it and had the money to offer him, there might be factors that change it's value.
And how to we base market value on these trucks any more.... There are original's in all conditions and modified customs in all conditions. People asking 15k for an original and people with a modified for same price and condition.

Re: Sweet 69 GMC 4x4 I found on the CL
Yeah, normally I am not a yellow truck kinda guy. But this one looks alright in my books. This the first time I have seen it on there, but then again I haven't looked much till recently. I try not to look since I can't afford another, but sometimes you wonder what's out there and have to look anyway.
