Need Help Now !!! Door Latch

I had trouble with drivers side closing so I bought new latch and it works. Now for some unknown reason my passenger side does not close anymore. I both a new latch for it and it still doesnt close
I am perplexed and don,t know what to do? Please help. I was really hoping to get in a few rides before snow hits the ground.
Vehicle is a 56 Chec Pick up Its our Canadian Thanksgiving week end and I dont know if a mechanic or bodyshop would help. So I,m desparately hoping someone here can so I can do it myself. I did do drivers and it closes so I ordered passenger side from same company
