Fender Smoke stacks??

I'm just getting crazy Ideas in my head as I usally do.... Has anyone ever thought of or heard of or even seen a fender mounted smoke stack? Would it be posable? To mount it in between the wheel well and the fender/door seem? How would it look? Let me know what you guys think.

Stacks on a gasser just look ridiculous. Even on a diesel pickup, I think they look stupid.

Re: Fender Smoke stacks??

Are you talking about something like an exhaust cut out in the fender or are you talking about a big rig style exhaust? I could deal with a clean install on a fender install but those blummin exhaust stacks like you see on desiel trucks forget it. I think it is sort of funny how they turn them straight up through the bed, I know OT, but when it rains it goes straight to the bottom. Sits in the 90 degree bend and rusts away. Really nice.

Re: Fender Smoke stacks??

The only truck I've ever seen that looked ok with stacks was Dodges "Lil Red Express" back in the late 70's.

Re: Fender Smoke stacks??

i know alot of the turbo guys will put a single pipe there, no turns just flush with the body but if they can do that, you can do a stack

Re: Fender Smoke stacks??

Omg I think I just puked seeing those ugly cars with stacks haha! That's just a disgrace. Stacks look kinda cool on some trucks but not something I would ever do to any of mine. Post pics of the truck if you do though.

Re: Fender Smoke stacks??

I seen one just today, it was a 4wheel drive with the stack's between the front wheel and the door.
I'll try to get a picture of it and post it so you can see what a bad idea it really is.
