look what i found
so today i was at a guys place getting a dash pad for my 1980 gmc i bought off him from a parts truck he had, i was climbing over the pass side for the 3rd time (hes got a bunch of junk laying around) and i just happen to look over and i see this blue object, i look again and i think no way it cant be is that a bucket seat from a blazer
sure enough it is! im not sure if its from 73 and up style or prior im not too knowledgable on these seats, but from what i understand is the 73 and up the handle for flipping the seat forward is on the side, so what i think i found is a bucket seat from a 71-72 blazer with the highlander package, anyone know for sure what iv found? i only saw the one and couldnt find the other it started raining, im going to go back tomorrow oor sometime this week to see if he has the other, heres a couple pics i snapped of it, knowing my luck it will be from a 73 and up but still a cool find in my books |

Re: look what i found
Mid-seventies and not a Highlander plaid trim nor package that would be correct for a '72 Blazer.

Re: look what i found
If the frames are not rusted and the foam is useable. The foam can be worked and you can use 69-72 seat covers on them. I would not pay too much for them though.

Re: look what i found
As mentioned, 73 up...bottom foam is 100% the same as 71-72. Back foam and upper frame are slightly different but with foam work the 71-72 covers will fit. Brackets are around 2" taller than the earlier ones....

Re: look what i found
could a guy just buy new foam for the earlier style and put it on instead of modifying the existing foam?
