New seat
I have a 1968 chevy stepside 307 3 on the tree. I would like to get recommendations as to what year truck seat will fit mine, bucket or bench.
Thanks-Mika |

Re: New seat
Any GM truck seat (full size) from '60 thru current stuff will fit width-wise. The popular seat to have was the '88-98 seat, but finding one in decent shape is getting more difficult. So, the '99 and up seats are your next target. Of course, there are bucket seats from just about anything that you could use. There's another post on here (page 2) that is about using a 2nd row Tahoe (92-99) seat in place of the stock bench. Only real issue is the fact that there is no fore/aft adjustment so you'd have to plant it where you wanted it to be. It's what I plan to put in my truck, but not everyone on here has a favorable opinion of doing that to THEIR truck. In the end, it's your truck and your dollar. Do what makes you happy.
