Re: help with vin

3 - Mexico built
G - General Motors
C - Chev Truck
2 - ? (GVWR range)
7 - ? (Line and Chassis type)
0 - ? (Series)
3 - Four door cab
L - 5.7 V8
1 - Check digit
G - 1986 model year
M - Lansing, MI assembly plant?
115126 - Production #

Some of that info looks wrong, but that's according to the 1986 GM vin card.

Re: help with vin

I couldn't get anything out of this. Did you double check the vin to make sure you have it right?

No C/K/R/V trucks built in Lansing Michigan. If it was built in Mexico then it would have to be Silao.

I have an '86 VIN card in my desk at work, but am on vacation all week. I can check when I get back next week.
