Unisteer Steering U-joints
I am getting ready to hook up my steering on the 53. Has anybody used unisteer u joints? Seems they are priced good considering they are stainless.
I understand cutting costs in this are is a know brainer, but if they are good, why not. |

I have never used them but they seem like a good u joint, i always us Flaming river... Unisteer joints clamp on the shaft with a bolt where Flaming River has two allen screws with a locking nut to hold theirs on.. both a priced about the same..

Re: Unisteer Steering U-joints
I think that last part come out wrong. I meant cutting corners on the steering is a bad idea.
The deal I have found on the unisteer is tough to beat. I would like to have flamingriver. Just wanted to hear if anyone has used them or have had problems with them. If the pinch style is better or not when compared to the set screw style. |

Re: Unisteer Steering U-joints
I have them, they work fine, but are larger than flaming river, and I had to grind frame in a tight spot, if it was even an extr $20 ea. id use flaming river if I could do again..
or....I'll make you an even better deal on unisteer ! |
