too sick to work....boooooooo

So, this is my short work week, where I only work Wed. and Thurs. I got some new parts for the 57 yesterday, and all the rest of the little odds and ends to finish the body mounts on the 55. Good for me, right?! My kids have been a little sick the past few days, nothing major. This morning my oldest (7) comes into my room telling me she is all itchy. Turning on the light reveals a red rash all over her body. Take her to the Ped. this morning, aaaaaaand.....she is diagnosed with Scarlet Fever. Nice. Get her a milk shake, bring her home, get her all settled in for a day off from school, get her lunch and medicine in her, and low and behold, my fever decides to come out and say 'hi'. Now, here I lay, next to my sick child, on the couch watching Barbie Princess something or other, with all of those great new items, lots of time, even with plenty of cash for the truck for once, and it hurts to move. The inside of my eyelids are hot. This sucks. Just wanted to complain while I sit here and do some electronic armchair hot roddin'.

Take proper care of the rug rat and yourself get well. It looks like it's a few days of planning and searching for parts and pieces on the net rather than getting out in the garage.

Nothing like obsessing on a project over the internets...

...not that I've ever done that. (ahem)

Maybe you got Tetnus from that last truck you bought, LOL.

Hope you both get well soon.

Re: too sick to work....boooooooo

Thanks guys! Feeling much better today, so I will be cutting off that rotten rear wheel, pressing in new lugs, and throwin a tire on there. Hopefully this will be an easy enough process! (i don't expect it to be)
