This was my thought on the price. I looked it up on LMC. They are asking $47 for an aftermarket piece plus shipping. I figured an NOS part was worth pretty much the same money. I had a whole box of NOS parts and Im just wanting them to go to guys that can use them.

Yep. A good rule of thumb is N.O.S. price = 2x repro...if you even consider them comparable

in the first post was already a smoking deal, no way to beat GM new old stock parts @ Taiwan import prices so I dont get the whole offer thing either

. These latches have been discoed by GM for years now and I happen to know first hand that towards the end of availability one side alone was $202. through GM. While factoring these cost in, imho some of these NOS heavy use/wear parts can easily be worth alot more than 2x the cost of the Taiwan imports. A few years back we were out of these NOS latches and had to give a bit over $300. for an NOS LH/RH set that was won at auction (ebay) when we needed them for a truck build, since then and now that we have acquired some GM NOS extras we have been getting $300. per left/right set, and currently also have some extra matchng GM NOS LH/RH latch striker plates (piece bolted to cab) and GM NOS LH/RH latch relays (splined shaft that int. handle clips on) available to build a complete NOS door latch setup.
