Question S10 Spindles

This maybe a dumb question but....

I have a S10 2wd frame laying around and am wanting to lower my 86c10, are s10 spindles a bolt on way to lower the front of my truck?

Re: S10 Spindles

Negative. You need C10 spindles. Ball joints and tierod ends are different on S10s.

Re: S10 Spindles

S10 chassis works out nice on the 47-54 chevy trucks.

it does a little bit. the rear end is wider than a reg truck rear end.

some of the cab mounts are different.

but, usually the front frame suspension "chunk" is all that is needed. similiar to the old mustang II set ups.

BLUF: still desirable

Re: S10 Spindles

Just remember one persons trash is another persons treasure. With some of the old cars i have messed with i have sold my junk pile for a 100 bucks and most of it i thought was worthless. If the frame hasn't had its spring pockets cut out for air bags someone will buy it i bet.
