dashboard help please
I will be ordering a dashboard for my K5 Blazer project in the next week or so and need to know the best place to buy from..... I'm looking for the best fit, quality and price. I know about Summit, LMC and Classic dash but not sure which to order from. I don't want a dash cover and I don't want to repair or recover the one I have since it is horribly cracked in many places. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pictures, places and prices is what I'm interested in. Thanks in advance.

Re: dashboard help please
Got mine for the '79 from Classic Parts. It fit great with a little trimming with a razor blade on the ends. I also ordered the armrests to match. Everything fit and matched very well. I had ordered a dash from them when I was restoring my '69 truck too.

Re: dashboard help please
I ordered it when Brothers was having their spring sale. I called Classic Parts to see if they would match the price Brothers had on sale. They did, and their shipping was cheaper too. The pad was $199. Well worth it for the fit and finish.

Re: dashboard help please
and it's not a cover? it's a complete factory dash? I wantto replace my whole factory dash since it has a lot of cracks.... I don't want a thin flimsy cover to go over it.

Re: dashboard help please
It's a full dashpad. Mine was so bad, a cover wouldn't work. You have to re-use the clips from the original as well as the screws over the glove-box.
