how does the door latch come out?

Having some problems with my drivers side door latch. Iv tried lubrication and adjusting the striker, with no luck. Do i have to take the window and track out to get the latch out. After I take out the 3 mounting bolts the latch is stuck in there because of the window track. So does this need to come out too?
Thanks fellas

After you remove the three bolts the latch, unscrew the door lock knobs & then take the clip off that runs to the door handle...then it takes a little wiggling to get it out but have patience it will come out...

You need to take the door key lock off from the inside the door then take the Door Lock Knobs off the rod that you lock the door with. The 2 rods that attach to the latch will need to be disconnected and then it will come out. I just did mine last week.

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

If you take the two screws out at the bottom of the rear window track it definitely makes it much easier. If you don't want to worry about taking the clasps off the rods, you can take the screws out of the interior handle release, and pull it out as an assymbly.

Wink Re: how does the door latch come out?

Here are some pictures for seeing what u have to do. Hope it helps.
I think this is a surbarban door though. It's basicaly the same as a truck door.
