Scored the coolest tag today!

Me and my wife where shopping around a flea market today 30 miles from our county we live in McNairy county tn, and I found this tag for my patina'd 67! Gonna put it on and leave my antique tag in the glove box and chance it!

I would just do it legally and not risk anything: http://www.tn.gov/revenue/forms/titl...901Fill-in.pdf

Re: Scored the coolest tag today!

yeah, i wouldn't mess around with mr. pusser. I think 71swb4x4 has it right - do it the right way, or you will be sorry. I used to carry stock taillights in my glovebox so that when I got pulled over for having blue dots on, I could tell the officer I was "just gonna change em".... Yeah, that didn't work out so well - and I doubt it will for you either. Applying common sense and letting folks off for stuff like that is from a bygone era, states simply need money. You might get lucky, but probably won't.

Re: Scored the coolest tag today!

In some states (Illinois for one) you can run year of manufacture on your vehicle as long as you have valid registration in the glove box.
