power steering boxes

hi im new here i have a 55 chevy pickup im redoing , and was wondering if anybody can tell me what to use as a power steering box on my truck im still gonna use the original frontend

Hi, you might not be aware of it but you posted this question in the pre 1947 section of the forum. You might want to ask this question in the 1947-59 message board.

im doing a 51 using all the original front end and i went through cpp [classis performance parts] and bought the kit to mount a 69-87 2wd chevy gearbox on the front outer side of the frame. between the kit and the gearbox i have $200 in it and it was super easy to install.
