250 6-cylinder Radiator Overflow Tank Mount

Would anyone have a picture of and overflow tank mount for a 69 250? I know the one I have on my truck is a makeshift piece and would like to make something a little more substantial until I find one.
Thanks, Dan

There isn't a factory one. Some have modded a washer fluid bottle to use as one.The original system just dumped to the ground. You ran the rad about 1-1 1/2 in from the top and let it find it's level. You will have to make or adapt one. That's why yours is makeshift.

Thanks for the information. I thought the overflow bottle looked like a washer fluid bottle and knowing where the truck came from and how things were "fixed" I figured I would try make a better mount. I think the bottle will just go away. Thanks again!

I hid my homemade one in my 68 GMC in a discreet place so it wouldn't be very noticeable. Helps keep the fluid in and I also noticed the engine ran a couple degrees cooler with a full radiator.

68, that's a nice touch on the tank. I have a friend from my USMC days that's been a radiator guy all his life and I'm gonna run it by him and see what he says. Thanks for taking the time to show and tell
