Frame Parts
Anyone know where I can find some frame parts. I am looking for the piece that is rivets to the frame above the rear coil spring. It is riveted to the bottum of the frame rail and is angled to the cross member just in from of the rear axle. My truck is a 68. I had too do some reapairs to the frame in this area and the rust has ate the support pretty bad. I am not sure if anyone else has had this problem but their is a gap inbetween the frame and this support and it has almost rusted the frame away. This is the only section of rust anywhere on the frame so I dont want to buy a new one. I have looked at all the websites I can think of and nobody sells these. Thanks for all the help in advance.

Re: Frame Parts
You could go to a local pick and pull and ask if they can torch the bracket off. If all else fails i think you could probrolly fab something up similar to it. Wish you luck

Re: Frame Parts
I have tried the yard and they wont let you go out there with and torches or saw-all. They said their labor is 100.00 bucks and hour. which is crazy. I thought about trying to fab something but I figured I would ask on here first. It seems someone one here always something that may work. Thanks
