Best places to order parts

I just got my truck, so haven't ordered anything yet, but LMC and also Brothers seem to be pretty decent. Price and good order follow through would be my top requirements.

Is there anybody better? Which of the two is best?

I was a little frustrated with the massive local Chevrolet dealer. I went over there, and all they could sell me was a replacement key. They said "oh, sorry. Our computers only go back to '99". Wow. Of course, the guy that made my key said he is in the market for a '69....

Re: Best places to order parts

Everyone has a different niche and depends if your looking for tubular a-arms, suspension spring kit, brake lines or replacement window moldings... all the companies serve a different purpose for me.

Here who I have personally ordered from and never had a glitch.

LMC Truck
Brothers
Summit
Jegs
GMC Paul
Early Classic Enterprises
Classic Performance Products (CPP)

Hope it helps.

Re: Best places to order parts

Go check this place out
http://www.classicchevroletparts.com/

They are local for me. Some of the prices are a little stretched but they stand behind what they sell.

Good example is a bought a replacement fuel sending unit for my 1970 c10. I installed it and did not work. They walked me over the phone how to troubleshoot and find the source of the issue. Turns out the part was good just not getting a good ground. They also do classic Ford stuff, so if you know anyone who might need Ford parts

Re: Best places to order parts

Just browse thru the vendors thread on this site. I am not partial to any one company that sells parts for our style trucks. I pretty much look for deals and best prices on the parts I am looking for. Recently I have been looking on GMCPauls.com and he seems to have some pretty good prices for what I am looking for parts wise and has great reviews on here for quality and customer service.
