Paint code

Came across a freshly rebuilt L6 250 that has never been run and would like to paint it before installation. I paid the previous owner 250.00 for the engine, one that he recieved in lew of the correct motor he ordered for his Mercedes, he got 2 454's and one 250. I'm very pleased with my purchase. What is the correct paint to use for repainting engine? any Favorites?

Re: Paint code

For what year truck? I believe this is the factory configuration in chevy orange. The 63's were blue....dont know if 64 or 65 went to orange. Odd enough..this one has a GMC valve cover.
