Remove instrument panel??

I am stumped. Took out all screws and all knobs and ignition switch. Something is keeping this thing from budging. What am I missing? How do I remove the gauge panel?

Re: Remove instrument panel??

Disconnect the speedometer cable from the back and the cluster should slide forward. Disconnect the cluster harness and it should be free.

Re: Remove instrument panel??

I just took mine out, reinstalled, then out again, then reinstalled. Pull it as far forward as possible and look under the lip of the cluster bezel on the bottom. You may be getting hung up on the dash metal inset that the wiper and headlight switch fit into. You may need to gently pry up to get it to clear. You will be able to pull it out just far enough to disconnect the speedo cable, then unplug the harness. Mine was a pain. Don't get to rough with it but show it who's boss!

I had the same problem. Ended up taking out the heater controls so I could get my hand in behind there better to push.
