1970 K5 Value
I am thinking about selling my 1970 Blazer as I do not have have the time to devote to it enjoying it right now ( a decision I will probably regret). That being said, I have no clue to its worth or what a fair price would be to ask for it. I was hoping to get some feedback from you guys here. Details are below (I will try to get pics later), and I appreciate any feedback...
- strong 350 w/ about 40K miles - rebuilt SM465 4-speed transmission - new clutch - 3/4 ton axles (Eaton HO52 w/Detroit locker in rear), Dana 44 up front. Both 4.56 gears - New 315/85/16 mud tires - Newer shocks and steering stabilzers - Newer Rough Country 4" suspension lift - New steering box - Wiring harness replaced It will need some body work down the road - the body does have some rust in the usual places (i.e. rocker panels) and bottom of the door. I do have many of the replacement metal already though. Any ball park ideas of what it might be worth? I will try and get some pictures posted in the next day or two. Thanks in advance! |

Re: 1970 K5 Value
Value could vary widely, depending on the extent of the rust.

Re: 1970 K5 Value
Sorry I took a little to get back. Finally got some pics. Below is a link to my craigslist ad. I have seen them advertised anywhere from several thousand higher (better bodies) to several thousand lower (real bad mechanically and rusted). Mine is very mechanically sound and has the 3/4 ton running gear. Am I close to the right ball park with my asking price? Thanks!

Re: 1970 K5 Value
Your asking price looks like a good starting place to me.
