Re: how big on my rubber?

Are you referring to the original 15x6 steelie? If so, a 235 width will be about as big as you can go. A 235/70/15 on all four corners would look with that drop on stock steelies.

Re: how big on my rubber?

1) He's trying to use a DeWalt without a battery?
2) The 67 Camaro with the bumble bee stripe is almost out of gas?
3) He backed over a poor, helpless sticker?
4) He can't read his notes because he has a bunch of sheet on is notepad?
5) He has carelessly left the tip of his TIG welder on the garage floor?

I'm sure you are talking about the SR radials going different directions but they are not mounted. Just sat there for mocking-up purposes.

Re: how big on my rubber?

Rear ends not center? May be an optical illusion from the angle of the pic?

Other than that, maybe the gas tank is sitting up too high? but you never know what he's gonna do to the bed.

Re: how big on my rubber?

Look at the center section just front of the gas tank. Dead centered. The tires are just sitting there. The jack at the bottom of the pic is what's holding everything up.

Re: how big on my rubber?

Assuming with the jack under it, the tires are just rolled up beside the frame rails. Is there really that much room for tires under a fleet bed? (without tubbing and moving the rails somewhat?) Just curious, I don't know .. I'm asking.

LOL....he didn't have his ORTHO shoes on!!!

@CC69RAT...No, won't fit without tubbing. I think this guy is going crazy though. Looks like it's bagged so I'm guessing the whole bed floor will be custom so he can lay frame.

Here is when a hillbilly puts wide tires on! I didn't touch the frame rails or the rear end. Just custom 14" wheels and tub the bed.

Re: how big on my rubber?

Nope.....not with this power plant!

If you can get past the horrible clutch squeek that I didn't even know was there because the truck is so loud, here you go. This was on a terrible country road that had about a 2" shoulder before gravel. I couldn't stay in it very long. Just a camcorder on the dash! Poor audio.....turn it up.

I said Holy SH** when I seen these. And then I noticed those are directional tires. Not knocking you on it, but I think that might affect your traction and will look out of place in my opinion. Looks sweet though.

Dig the tubs mang! Did you just cut the side off of the stock ones in the truck and then weld on the other tubs?

I have 235/75/15 and 255/70s on my 15x6 steelies. I'm sure I could have gone 265/70s.

Gary

My process was pretty crude and I was still drinking at the time so the exact process is a little fuzzy. lol Yes though.....just 2 old tubs stiched together. The high and low parts of the bed control just how wide you go. You have to stop on a flat part so the side bolts will hold it flush. Here you go.
