77 fan shroud help?

I posted this to 73-87chevytrucks.com forums yesterday but got no responses, and I need to get something asap so here goes:

The truck is in the middle of installing the 383 in the pickup, and the old fan shroud is broken. No problem, I'll just order a new one.
Except that the only shrouds available for the 76 and 77 show that they're for "no a/c". Well, I have A/C, and always have...

Does it matter? Should I order a 76-77 without A/C and not worry about it? Is there a reason it won't work? Bolt holes in the wrong place? Is the shroud too small/narrow/short?
Can I order the 78-80 shroud for A/C?

Why does 76-77 have so many oddball parts!?

77 was a year for a lot of changes. As far as I knew, ther ewere really only 2 types of shrouds for the 73-80 trucks; HD cooling and non HD cooling. The HD cooling radiator is higher, level with the top of the core support. The non HD radiators are about 4 inches shorter. The fan shrouds bolt on to the upper radiator retainer and core support at the bottom.

is yours a 2 piece or 1 piece shroud?....where are you trying to order this from?

Honestly I'm not sure which it is. I have looked at brothers, lmc, classic parts, and maybe one other, and none have a shroud of any kind for 76-77 Small Block Automatic with A/C.

Went to the pull-a-part and got a pretty good one off of a 74. Looks like it will do the trick just fine. Came out of a truck with a 350 and a/c.
