snow plow mount pics
I know some of you out there are using these trucks to plow snow. What do your plow mounts look like? ANYTHING has to look better than mine! LOL

The bolts should hold the major part of the load.
The only benefit you "might" gain from the weld may be to keep the bracket (& bolts) from becoming lose. Welding the bolts would have worked much better. My guess is low amperage and not grinding the paint down to bare metal prior to attempting to weld... |

Yes I agree, if you have the resources, replace by all means.
Do keep in mind the less heat you apply to your frame horns, the better off you'll be in the long run. Frame heat = brittle steel |

I'm DEFINITELY making new mounts. I just needed some inspiration. After some online research I think I'll mount reese receivers to the frame horns, and fabricate plow mounts that I can remove. Thanks!
