sunpro 33-240ohm????

can i use both gas gauge and senting unit from Sunpro??????? I am not getting a clear answer on other thread. My gas gauge is starting to failed and i am in processes of puttiing a new underbed gas tank.

thanks. I was about to order them when I saw that both are
240ohms- 33ohms (backwards). this is compatible with my 64 GMC truck original wiring????

It may or may not be, before install hook up stock wiring and test it, if not follow instructions that come with it. One thing to be sure tank is well grounded to frame and frame to cab...

GM to my knowledge has only used two Ohm ratings until maybe late model stuff (post 2000). 0-30 and 0-90. Many of the aftermarket ones that are generic and not GM specific tended to use 33-240. I think that dates back to a Stewart Warner thing way back in the day.

Oh, I guess I misread things. The wiring itself is fine to use if in good shape but your sender and gauge must match. There are only about 5 different ones typically found. Ford has their own and I think I have seen one other one than the three I listed above.
