I need some color choice advice!

Hi, good evening! This is a little complicated to explain, but
my original intentions were to paint the entire interior cab to capish with my seat. Now, I'm thinking just to paint below the dash where I redid the radio area with a single din radio and the door panels. Maybe when my back gets better I'd go with my original intentions, but just wanted to ask what some of my friends here may think. I'd like to paint the engine compartment the same color if possible so I could paint both at the same time. Just curious what ya'll might think. ; )

Just a thought~ a metalic champagne color from eastwood.

below: this pic was taken a while back, just wanted to show the inside and the actual seat color.

Damn, for some reason my 'puter at work won't let me see about half the photos on the site anymore - and of course I can't ask the I.T. guys to fix it. DOH!

Were you going to use a similar color for the door panels as the seats? If so, yup I'd go with that Champagne type color.

Of course similar to Ogre apparently, my spouse thinks I'm colorblind...

This is my opinion and not dissing your truck at all, but IMO you have a little too much of the maroon paint. In the pics it looks kind of dark inside the cab. If it were me I'd paint the entire interior a tan color that is about the same color as the seat. Then maybe paint the top of the dash and the area inside the accent lines on the door panels one shade darker than the seat. I'm picturing the interior of my suburban which is tan with darker accents and think it would look good in your truck.

Re: I need some color choice advice!

Your truck looks great and this is only my opinion, I like the look and thought of tying the color of the seats in with that awsome metalic maroon, but only on cars/trucks that have had the newer "molded" look, newer modern treatment throughout. I think on a more classic approach, keeping it simple works best, adding pinstripe or leather top cap for the dash etc. You can always paint the lower area later and once you have the carpet done, headliner, trim boards for the risers, steering column painted or covered etc. you can make that decision to getter a better picture of the whole package.
