1984 c10 a/c bracket
Hey Guys, I recently put a set of hooker headers an my 1984 silverado c10 small block 350. Love the headers but I am not able to get the a/c compressor mounted properly again. The back bracket for the compressor was mounted to the original exhaust manifolds and does not fit with the headers. Does anyone know if someone makes a bracket for this for purchase? or has anyone made one themselves? It has the compressor on the drivers side and is not the long axial compressor it is the short one. If anyone could help that would be great. I guess another option is changing to a complete serpentine belt kit but wow, they sure dont give them away!!

Re: 1984 c10 a/c bracket
Maybe this will help.
Stock bracket cut to clear exhaust tube. Obviously you could cut it with a bit of a curve to make it pretty. I however was not worried about looks, just wanted it done. I never put the A/C back on though, but had the bracket in case I decided to.
