Re: Color name,code any help
Here are a few 60 paint colors.
http://www.paintscratch.com/touch_up...let-Truck.html Looks like you would like the Tartan Turquoise or the Brigade Blue I personally like 2 tone, especially on a burb/panel. I also perfer slightly darker colors. I'd go with something like the Garrison Gray over Marlin Blue two tone. |

Re: Color name,code any help
Anybody know what color the dash, panels etc where on the Garrison Gray. Kinda leaning with the green only because the inside paint(factory tannish) on my burban is in really nice shape, so i can probably get away with only doing the outside. But i love that grey too.

I can't help you choose a color for your Suburban because I LOVE it the way it is. Whether faux patina or real, it's perfect! |

It's REAL?? OMG, Ok, ..no way can you paint over that. Not even. I won't let you. You don't have permission. Um... Your mom said....
I'm kidding of course... but DAMN, that patina is to die for! Last edited by oem4me; 10-23-2012 at 11:24 PM. |

Re: Color name,code any help
I would like to see that truck in person. I swear, to me it's does not get much better than that for patina.
Wax, maybe? Clear? Hmmm, .. I dunno. Most efforts at improving real legit age tend to work in the opposite direction. Tough call. I would NOT do the CLR thing though. |

The turquoise and the brigade would both go well with fawn interior. So would the hemlock and neptune greens. Quite honestly almost any darker shade of blue, green, or red would go well with fawn in my opinion. For that matter, a slightly darker shade of gray would as well. I'm not a big "patina" fan myself. I think a well done paint job (nice and shiny) is much more attractive. But for those that like the patina look would kill for one as nice as yours. People pay a LOT of $$$$$ for the faux look trying to accomplish what you have naturally. |

to me the patina perfectly fits the rugged 4x4 look of your Burb...if you want pretty, then paint is the only way to go...but I'd be hard pressed to even mess with a nice OG patina on any vehicle for that matter...just my opinion
