bagging a 1966 chevy truck

im getting ready to bag along bed fleetside 66 chevy truck. How do i determine what size bags to use?

I have used two chamber bags in the front of my old 65, but I hear single chamber in the front is better to keep down body roll. The single chamber bags will be shorter and less range of movement.

At some point I plan to bag the front of mine and will go with single chamber bags.

AS far as weight rating, is 100# really going to make a difference? I would say 2500 and 2600 would work fine. If you are running a V8, I would go with 2600# just for the little extra load cap.

2600 in the front , wither 25 or 26 in the rear
always put the the biggest bag u can in because
u get more lift with less psi and in return its a more comfy ride
also works in in reverse too smaller bag = more psi firmer ride
i have 2600 in all four

I have 2500's all around. I cupped my LCA's so I didnt want to have any rubbing issues with the bigger bag. Now that its all said and done, i PROBABLY could of used the 2600's up front, but the ride is still pretty sweet. Something to consider if thats the route your going

I have ordered a porterbuilt kit from Pro Performance is AZ, it is a simple kit so that I can adjust my ride height if I have a load, or am towing my camper (no C-notch). There is a picture of the kit in my build thread.

Most bags kits will run the double convoluted bag, which does have more travel. A lot of the kits we sell will use the slam specialties SS7 bag, which is a good all around bad. They also have built-in internal bump stops which is a nice feature.
