Tapered pinion shims

I just received some 3 deg pinion shims from Carl's racing products. I thought I would start a findable thread with pics and info for folks to find later. All shims are $13 each. I am impressed with the product

$22.95 each now, made out of better material and polished looking. Easy slide in installation, just ordered mine!!! They have all kinds of stuff for custom suspension for our trucks.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Tapered pinion shims

I picked up 2.5, 3 and 4 degree shims from Carl. Good service.

Re: Tapered pinion shims

For what they cost, I'm keeping them on hand 'just in case'. I have multiple sets for tuning once my 64 gets going. I never needed them on my previous rides, but they weren't as modified as the 64.
